The Nation reports that “the number of taxi motorcyclists who gathered at Suvarnabhumi International Airport to welcome former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra grew to over 2,000 shortly before his arrival”.
Thaksin opted not to take a motorcycle taxi to court, instead choosing to hitch a ride with his buddy Interior Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung.
With all the motorbike taxis at the airport, the rest of Bangkok has been left stranded.

Kitty will be broadcasting live from the BK party tomorrow night. The party is dubbed “Glam Cham”. I have no idea what that means and I’m unsure exactly what Kitty will be doing during her broadcast, but if you want to watch her doing stuff, you can find more details here. If you don’t know Kitty, she’s the one who dug her claws into Sitthichai at an FCC event. If I’m at home I’ll tune in to see if online heckling is possible.

Something weird is going on with Google’s Page Rank. The last update was about January 10 and it’s usually done every three months or so. However, people are reporting fluctuations in their Page Ranks.
This blog is currently showing a PR5, which would mark an increase from the PR4 I’ve had for a year or so now. I’m hoping this holds as it would be a major milestone.
It’s difficult to tell whether this is a real update because the datacenters are coming back with strange results. This will mean nothing to most of you.

The Bangkok Post has reported that it’s “It’s pretty much official, Mr Thaksin Shinawatra is due to arrive at Suvarnabhumi airport via TG 603 from Hong Kong at 9:40 am tomorrow, according to sources close to him.” Well, if it’s pretty much official, I guess that means the circus is about to begin. After doing his best to draw as much attention as possible to his imminent return, Thaksin “I’ve quit politics” Shinawatra is set for a glorious homecoming.
”He had wanted a quiet return, just like when Mrs Potjaman came back,” said Supamart Israpakdi.
