Apple releases Safari browser for Windows

This news caught me off guard: Apple has released a Windows version of its Safari browser. I downloaded it out of curiosity (I’m always curious about Macs) and I must say I don’t see why anybody using Windows and Firefox would need to use Safari. It’s a fast enough browser but it seems full of glitches (it is still in Beta so problems should be resolved). There’s also the fact that it has difficulty accessing Yahoo Mail Beta, which makes it pretty useless for me at the moment. Why has taken this long for Apple to release a Windows version of Safari?

If you want to see what all the fuss is about I suggest you read this review here and then go and download Safari 3. If you're living in Thailand then you may appreciate the faster loading speed of Safari compared with other browsers (not considerable, but noticeable).
