The world's tallest man meets the world's shortest man
I can’t help but get a kick out of this. Mongolian herdsman Bao Xishun is seven feet nine inches tall. He made headlines in December last year when an aquarium in north-east China enlisted the use of his 1.06-meter-long arms to reach into the stomachs of two dolphins. The hapless porpoises had swallowed shards of plastic, as was reported by the BBC.
More recently, a global search began to find Mr Bao a wife. Xia Shujian from China was the lucky woman and the two were married in March. She is 29 years old and two-thirds the size of her 56-year-old husband, also reported by the BBC.
He Pingping, 19, claims to be the world’s smallest man. He stands at a mere 28 inches tall. Also hailing from in Inner Mongolia, Mr He was the size of an adult’s palm at birth. The pair met on Friday and they look like they had a great time together.
