Volta is the title of Bjork’s much anticipated new album. This image is part of the artwork for the album, which is to be relase on May 7.

I’ve heard the album and it’s incredible. I will be picking up a copy as soon as it hits the stores in Thailand. The tracklisting is as follows:

Much was said about this shift in direction for Bjork’s music, especially given the collaborations with the likes of Timbaland (‘Earth Intruders’, ‘Innocence’, ‘Hope’), but the music is still very Bjork, even if it has become a little more danceable in its unremixed form. The standout track on the album is ‘Wanderlust’, a gorgeous, sweeping avalanche of a song. There are also three remixes on the album.
