Bob checks out and cashes in
Some people laugh at the idea that there is money to be made from blogging. My online buddy, Bob, started his blog in June last year. Less than 12 months later, he has just sold it for… wait for it… $50,000. That’s incredible. Hats off to the guy. He now has more than enough money to leave the Ireland and go and live with his girlfriend in Australia.
Also today, I sold one blog for $1,000. I guess I have some way to go before I’m on the same level as Bob. I do have a project I’m working on that I’m hoping will be my key to early retirement. We’ll see how that goes.
50k for a blog sounds nice, but how much of that was profit?

All of it was profit. He had free hosting, made up to 5K a month with it and didn't pay for any advertising.
