Breaking News: Man shot at Victory Monument
At around 10 p.m. Thursday night, on Ratchavitee soi 6 near Victory Monument, two men on a motorcycle shot another man as he was walking down the street. The two men then made off on the motorcycle and the victim was subsequently taken to hospital.
This happened right next to my apartment. When I say right next to, I mean within three meters of the restaurant I eat at underneath my room. I have some pictures but I don’t have time to upload them right now. I'll post more details tomorrow as I have to go out now.

I was also quite amazed and shocked. I have studied in Thailand in 2004 and at that time, Victory monument was very safe, as far as I know. I used to go out at night around 11 PM at night. Now what is happening to Bangkok?
