Chris Benoit found dead with slain wife and son
Pro wrestler Chris Benoit was found dead along with his slain wife and seven-year-old son on Monday at his home in Atlanta, Georgia. He was 40 years old.
I’ve been a fan of pro wrestling since I was ten years old. I’ve watched Chris Benoit (pictured, left, with Eddie Guerrero, also deceased) on WWF, WCW, WWE and ECW television shows and pay per views. Chris Benoit was one of the top performers in WWE, and is regarded as one of the greats in the profession.
This is tragic news, made even more tragic by the deaths being investigated as a murder-suicide. The three bodies were found in different rooms of the Benoit family home. All leads point to Benoit killing his family and then himself, although reports are yet to be confirmed.

It seems almost certain Benoit strangled both his wife and son. I'm stunned. He was a great wrestler, free of silly gimmicks and highly underrated.
