Thailand's best hotels, as per Conde Nast's Gold List 2011

Conde Nast's Gold List 2011 is out (was actually out in January, although I missed it then) and Thailand scored six of the spots on the roster of 108 resting places. No real surprises on the list as far as Thailand goes, with the honours going to the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, the Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai, Banyan Tree Phuket, Metropolitan Bangkok, The Peninsula Bangkok and the famous Six Senses Hua Hin.
I haven't stayed at any of these places, but my favourite hotel/resort in Thailand will always be Indigo Pearl in Phuket. Something about that place really blew me away, and the beds were ridiculously comfy.
On a related note, StyleCaster this week compiled a list of the most affordable hotels among the 108 winners, and The Peninsula came out pretty well, with rooms from about £270, along with Banyan Tree from $245.
