Filezilla is a freeware, open source FTP client that you ought to download if you have your domain hosted somewhere. What Filezilla basically does is allow ease of transfer between your website and your desktop. When you get it running you will have a window with your computer’s files on one side and your server files on the other. This is particularly useful for downloading system backup files, as well as for restoring your files in the result of data loss. It’s easy to use. One you have downloaded Filezilla you enter your domain (domain.com), your username (user@domain.com) , the password for your user/domain, and the port as “21”.
