Football failure and new UN chief
In sad news, Timor-Leste took a bit of a beating at the SEA games yesterday, losing 11-0 to Malaysia in Laos. It was the opening match of the football competition and was the biggest win in the history of the games. We'll see what the next game brings for the minnows.
In other news, Atul Khare has been replaced by Ameerah Haq as head of the UN mission in Timor-Leste. I don't know anything about Ameerah Haq, but I hope she has some bright ideas for Timor-Leste.
