Get a Joost Beta Invite: The Future of Online TV
Please note: Anybody who left a comment here requesting a Joost inbite in the past week who didn’t receive one should leave a new comment here as my database was wiped recently.
Joost.com is what many are calling the future of TV. It’s basically a new way of watching TV on the internet that is way ahead of using torrents or anything else. You get high quality images from a number of channels (they even have an anime channel), and you can pick and choose what you watch with ease. Joost also has other internet features, like chatting and searching, making the whole television experience interactive. This could well be the next stage of the development of digital entertainment. People are quite excited about it, and I am too, but to be involved you need an invite. Joost is currently in its beta testing phase.
I now have an invite for Joost TV, so if you want one please leave a comment here with your e-mail address and I will do the rest. Joost TV has not launched officially yet and so what you are receiving is an invite for the “Now For Friends” version, but that doesn’t mean that there isn’t heaps of stuff there to check out. Once you start using Joost you’ll probably see the potential that a program like this has. It’s made by the same people who created Kazaa and Skype, so you know it’s coming from a good place.
Please don’t e-mail me about Joost invites, but leave a comment here and I will hook you up. If you are a blogger then I’d appreciate a link bank to http://whatismatt.com/ but I won’t make this a condition of the invites. Share your thoughts about what you think about Joost TV in this thread once you’ve got your invite. I won’t run this post for Joost invites forever, so once you get connected you should offer invites to others in your online network.

Oooh, I’d love it if you had a few laying around, I’ve been somewhat following IPTV, partially because I’m to cheap to pay for cable…. partially because my monitor is larger then my tv… and partially because i’m just a nerd.

Cheers buddy. I read about Joost TV last week and truly excited about this long awaited new leap forward in the merging of tv and Internet. As you mention Joost TV is from the creators of Skype and yes, this validates the quality up front. Also, I like the marketing approach taken of creating a hype in the market with the access as of now only for friends. Very clever :-)
I hope you can share an invitation so I wil have the possibility to check out Joost TV.
