The funniest show on television at the moment
I occasionally miss British television, particularly the sitcoms, so I decided to further utilise my (quite slow) broadband connection by downloading an old favourite. It’s called Peep Show and a new series (the fourth) began a couple of weeks ago. It airs every Friday on Channel 4 and you can get the episodes on a torrent from EZ TV. The humour is very dry, in a similar manner to The Office I suppose, albeit with much less cringing. It’s hilarious, and somewhat novel in that every episode is filmed as if you are looking out of each of the characters eyes. It’s particularly funny when you can hear their inner thoughts; so much of what their thinking seems to reflect what we all think but never say.
The two main characters, Mark and Jeremy, are both so funny in their own right. They’re just a couple of complete losers trying to cope with day-to-day life, struggling to deal with the most simple of scenarios. You can download an episode in an hour or thereabouts, so why not go and check out the first episode of series four and celebrate great British humour.
If you don’t know how to download torrents (there must be some people who don’t know how to use torrents), all you need to do is go to UTorrent and download the software. Then you can download more or less anything you can think of from sites like Torrents.
