Blogger Jotman seems to have been everywhere, and he has tons of great posts about Thailand and Asia. One of my regular reads.
  • Bangkok Diaries
Decent blog that covers a lot of expat issues and acts as a good introduction to what we go through living here in Thailand. Also has a very good layout and is easy to navigate.
  • Dreaming of Hanoi
One of my favorite blogs of all time. Preya lives in Colorado but is about as international as you can get. She is thought-provoking and insightful, and even inspirational. A top read.
  • Life Out East
Used to be a great blog when he lived in Thailand, but now he’s back in the UK he hasn’t been writing. I’m hoping he’ll come back to Thailand.
  • 4AM Expat
Nice blog with short, sharp posts and links to other great content from in and around Thailand.
  • Bisean
Another one of my favorites. I don’t know, I just like the attitude on this blog. Check it out and see what you think. Not to everyone’s liking, but it has a certain spark you can’t deny.
  • Newley Purnell
I love Newley’s blog because I have a huge amount of respect for him and his work. I don’t think he likes me very much because he removed my link from his blog, but I still read his anyway. He’s been blogging since before Jesus was born, and he’s an insightful fella.
  • Lillian’s Thai Diary
Lil is a top lass who has been blogging for a couple of years. I feel like she is my online mother in some ways.

  • Jotman
This is Jotman’s more regular home. Like I said, he’s been everywhere.

Short, sweet blog posts about Thailand and life in the media. It’s one of the only blogs I read on a regular basis.
  • Bangkok Ali
She was in Bangkok, but now she lives in Malaysia. Still a fun read though, though she should probably change her name. KL looks kind of fab though.
  • Mon Bangkok (French)
It’s in French, so if you can’t read French you might struggle. Has some cool pictures for us non-speaking folk.
  • Dreams of Azaro
    My dream blog.
  • Daily Penguin
Bua is fabulous and her blog is actually called something other than “Penguin”, though I never understood what that word was, so I left it as penguin.
  • Silken Knot
I can’t remember what this blog is and I can’t access it, but it will come to me what where this one came from.
  • Law and Life in Bangkok

  • Blog de Beton (French)
Another one in French. Written by a good bloke.
  • Christina G
An American expat living in Germany. She recently had a baby. She’s another one whom I would consider a wise blogger. I like her hair too. A good read.

He’s a geezer who likes drum ‘n’ bass, lives in Thailand and draws tattoos. He’s British too, and his blog posts can be totally hilarious or really provocative. I like.
  • Real Life Thailand
If I knew as much about politics and Thai affairs as Greg then I’d be a lot smarter than I am now. His blog is great for learning about the inner workings of Thailand.
  • Nan and Rune
He came here and got married to a Thai girl and has been chronicling their love affair ever since. It’s actually a very interesting read.

  • Gnarly Kitty
The most famous cat in the world and in my top three most-read blogs since I started reading it. Reading Kitty is like riding a rollercoaster.

  • Thai Pulse
One man’s quest to unearth ins and outs of expat life. Has a lot of information, especially if you’re new in town.

  • Thailand Jumped the Shark
The most controversial blogger in Thailand, but a great read if you want to take a look at some serious issues and have a pop at The Nation. He gets a lot of stick but he knows a hell of a lot about this place. Great for information gathering and learning.
  • Bangkok Pundit
He’s the daddy of the blogosphere. If ever I’m confused about something, I ask Bangkok Pundit. He knows all there is to know about politics and Thai history. His blog is an institution.
  • Jamie’s Phuket
I think Jamie writes the only dedicated Phuket blog. He has lots of information about visiting the place and things to do on the island. Worth reading.
