OK so here is my new layout. It's not perfect at the moment, and there are a few things I need to tweak in order for it to function properly. In the meantime, if you see anything wrong with it, or if any of the links or dead, or if you click something and the sky falls down, please let me know. Hopefully by the end of the weekend this should be all done. I need to consult with Josh from Bangkok Recorder about a couple of issues I'm having with the sidebars in CSS, but otherwise I don't think there is too much potential for a system meltdown or anything. I have some more content to upload over the next few days. So anyway, here it is, welcome to The Lost Boy in Bangkok: Version 2.

I like the template – clean!
I've been in the process of combining blogs into a blog network. I will turn ThaiPulse.com into a blog network focused on Thailand travel and experiences. I am looking for writers. I'd like to have you write there if you'd consider it. Each blog in the network will focus on one area of Thailand travel or experience. I'll have a proto-type of the index.htm page up in a few hours today and you can take a peek at categories. Even if you only wrote 3-5 times per week, because you're a good writer and have some traffic coming with you, I'd welcome you.
The network accomplishes a lot of things. Number 1 – it will bring some great writers together in one place focused on only one major topic: Thailand travel. This means the search engines will shower us with a lot of love in 3-6 months. A LOT of love. Number 2 – for writers that don't understand blogging and search engine optimization and bringing traffic and flow of site… it will be a no-brainer. They publish to their blog by sending us an email. We optimize their entire blog and publish their posts. Number 3 – authors of each blog make ALL the money from their blog. Even if a writer knows how to blog – he/she may not know the all important keys to getting ranked in Google and how to get large amounts of traffic. Maybe that's where you are – I'm not sure.
Just wanted to throw this out there and see if you're interested or if you know some other talented writers that might be interested.
Oh – important part – authors OWN their submissions. We don't keep them. I can explain more what happens if an author wants to leave the network later if you're interested.

one good thing is, you change the header picture. good to look a something different then bad hair boy on his day at the beach. (but maybe thats why bill is disappointed). but why not some bangkok or thailand related photos?
a bigger comment input box would be nice and a preview option.
Nice layout but don't like the colours and not sure why you've put a pic of a ladyboy (if it is, apologies if it isn't) on the header. Sorry in advance for the honesty.

Yes, the ladyboy pic was starting to get on my nerves a bit. I've added a live preview above. I won't put it below because people might not see it if they haven't scrolled down far enough. As for the colors, well, they're a bold move and I'll stand by it for the time being. One of the problems I had with my old layout was that it was really bloody gray. Maybe I'm over compensating.

Threw me off for a second when I first plopped in today, thinking I was on the wrong site! Forgot about your revamp. Didn't know you were going pink on us.

ladyboy picture on the header? in never looked at it realy closed. i always thought it was a picture of matt and i hurry up to scroll down.
no wonder…your site refused to open recently and when it did? all new layout and theme…looks brighter and sunnier…:)
