The sound of Dili

This is a particularly catchy Indonesian song that seems to be enjoyed by most people under the age of 40 in Timor-Leste. It has a good sing-a-long chorus. I'm not sure what the song is about, but it's worth a listen nonetheless.

Ok here are the lyrics, but they are cheesy, I warn you.

You are my beautiful girl / Try to see me here/ Here I am, the one who loves you

You are my sweet girl / Try to see me here/ Here I am, the one who cares for you

(Even though I know someone already has you/ I will keep waiting until you want me
    Don’t don’t you refuse my love /

Don’t don’t you question my heart / I will always be loyally waiting to become your boyfriend

Don’t don’t you not recognise my love/ Don’t don’t you bother your boyfriend / Just break up with your boyfriend/ And say “I love you” to me)

    X2

Wowsers. That's some pretty deep lyricism going on there.
