Justin Bartha, star of The Hangover and its newly released sequel, The Hangover 2 — filmed in Bangkok — says he regrets going to Thailand so much that he won't talk to anyone about the "disgusting" things he saw:
"I saw some dirty (stuff) in Thailand that got burned into my eyes. I honestly can't say what because it is so disgusting I feel ashamed for going," Justin told Bullett Magazine. "I shouldn't have gone."
Justin refused to open up about the experience at all for fear of offending people.
The 32-year-old admits it's one of his biggest regrets, and issued a stark warning for anyone considering following in his footsteps.
"It is so far beyond what people think," he said.
I'm going to hazard a guess that Justin Bartha is, in fact, a prude, and that he didn't see anything that we haven't all seen a thousand times before. I actually think it's highly irresponsible and disrespectful for Stuff.co.nz to publish such seemingly mysterious, ambiguous comments and underline them all with an apparent recommendation not to visit Thailand because it only gives half the story. So what did he see? A ping pong show? Ladyboys? What would make a grown man feel ashamed? I found another story that cleared the mystery up:
Justin Bartha and Ed Helms hit sex clubs in Bangkok to prepare for their roles in The Hangover Part II, and they got a whole lot more than they bargained for!
Bartha and Helms visited a few sex clubs because there was a possibility that the raunchy locations would be featured in the film, and he was horrified over the experience.
That's it?! They went to Bangkok "sex clubs"? Singling out Thailand for being "disgusting" is just plain ignorant. I don't remember Justin Bartha in any other movies, but suffice to say, I think this guy needs to get out more.
